D3 Comic Spot is a minority-owned comic book retailer with its headquarters in Richmond, CA. As are so many small businesses in the era of Covid-19, the store is trying to hold its own as we await a medical break-through that will greatly improve the health outlook for the United States and the World. As we look forward to the opportunity to eventually be able to re-open in a physical location, it is our greatest hope that you will find something you want as you shop. Our passion has always been to encourage the love of reading through comic books.

We offer an awesome collection of comics for all ages! You can find the popular comic brands such as DC and Marvel, Image Comics and more! We offer your favorite characters – Avengers, Batman, Black Panther, Harley Quinn, Iron Man, Superman, Wonder Woman, X-Men, and many, many more! We have an extensive collection of Funko Pops, action figures and other memorabilia. There is also a selection of graphic novels; and we are the place to go for your collectibles and specialty items!!

In the community

We particularly want to position ourselves to bring about a positive change! Through our venue of comic books, we hope to provide reading materials to encourage reading, and improve reading skills in some of the schools (especially Elementary Schools), in both Richmond and the entire San Francisco Bay Area. We also hope to assist in providing bilingual and Spanish materials where possible. We think this type of reading material can help not only the children of the communities, but their parents as well. We feel this is an excellent opportunity to use this type of reading material to promote environmental awareness and encourage our children to learn about, and want to preserve the world around them. They can be truly engaged and entertained while learning an important message!!

As a result, we have shared free comic books with Verde Elementary School in North Richmond, CA. We have also participated two years-running in the “Celebrate Reading” events held at Hilltop Mall in Richmond, CA and sponsored by West County Reads. Our comic books were a big hit! We hope to establish relationships with teachers, libraries, and community organizations.
